Position: Lead hand/ Foreman

Report to : Production manager and Office

Location: Lower Mainland (Burnaby)

 

Job description:

As a lead hand you will be responsible for Maintaining  current relationships with builders, contractors and clients. Additionally you will be leading a team of multiple electricians at various skill level in a variety of electrical duties such as: planning, installing, testing, measuring, maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, fixtures, apparatuses and appliances. Also using  and over seeing the use of hand and power tools.

You will be responsible for organization of jobs assigned to you (including material), ensuring each phase of assigned jobs are successful and communicating with office to advise on job status (ie: re visit, re turn trip, completed) for scheduling purposes.

Requirement for Qualification:

  • FSR B  (potential)
  • Journeymen certificate / Inter provincial Red Seal certificate
  • Knowledgable in Canadian Electrical Code Ability to read electric schematics, diagrams and blue prints
  • Solid work ethic and Positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills (Substantial written and verbal  understanding in the English language)
  • Ability to work alone or in a team setting
  • Tech savvy (apps Workiz, gmail, WhatsApp)

Position: Material Handler

Report to: Production manager + Foremen + General Manager

 

Job Description

A material handler maintains organization and production
of material by distribution of products. By pulling and retrieving orders
from various vendors and inventory stock and delivering materials and
supplies onsite specifically to foremen or production manager.

  • Receives credit-return material packing slips from vendor and upload to appropriate purchase order number in workiz or capsule
  • Communicate with office and production management on a regular basis
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing necessary tasks accurately and with urgency

Assets:

  • Previous experience in material handler role
  • Class 5 or 7 drivers license
